Windows 10: How do i get rid of extra column in Folders

if I right click on the folder to the right it comes up with diff options, view,sort by,group by,refresh, etc etc

 

Right Click on Type.

it shows size and size all, unticked,name,date modified,type, size

 

Why would you want to get rid of a document folder or any folder I use them all the time keeps your files nice and neat and I for one always know where to go to look for something

 

read the post please,im not trying to delete a folder

 

With that window open click on type in that list and see if it removes that column.

OK. Normally the headers at the top of the columns that you show in that list (name,date modified,type, size) should have a check mark but since yours doesn't then there is a problem on your system. Maybe you need admin rights but not sure. I need to head off to get some sleep and hopefully someone will check this thread later today. I will check back in later today and see what is going on.

Change the view from Details to List
