Windows 10: How do I make the taskbar black, not just dark grey?

    How do I make the taskbar black, not just dark grey?


    Even manually changing the color to black in the personalization settings seems to revert it back to dark gray even though it works with other colors. Do I have to end up using a third party app for this like always due to microsoft's incompetence? Or is there something I'm missing?

    My taksbar is dark grey and i want it to be black

    ok so this seems like a pretty easy fix, but its not, at least for me.

    my taskbar is dark grey instead of black. ive tried everything i can to make it black but i just cant do it. ive already unchecked the "show accent color on the start, taskbar, and action center" box. i have transparency off. i tried going back to the original theme but the taskbar stays the same.

    and i cant make my "windows color" black. it says its not supported. every image i see of people using windows 10 has the taskbar black so i dont see why i cant get mine to be black.

    heres what mine looks like. i put something black behind it so you can really tell the difference

    How do I make the taskbar black, not just dark grey?

    Taskbar grey and not black [VERSION 21H1]

    This problem has been haunting me for a while and I want to do something about it
    So my taskbar is dark gray and I want it black and I have transparency effects turned off and my taskbar is not any other color than dark gray
    I really need help, I want my taskbar to be black

    And none of that registry stuff

    So please help me
