Windows 10: How do I preset my wallpaper for a dual monitor setup?

Okay, this may sound confusing but please bear with me.

I have an external monitor plugged into a laptop when I work, but when I travel of course I just take the laptop with me.

Now, I know I am able to do separate wallpapers for each display(Laptop and External) however, is it possible to have the wallpaper set for the laptop, and a different one when it is plugged in without having to change it?

I figured it would always treat the laptop as Screen 1 and the external as Screen 2. Is there a way around this? Thanks!

Dual Monitor Setup - Windows 10 randomly changes wallpaper order

Hello all

I have a dual monitor setup running Windows 10 where my primary screen i horizontal and my secondary screen is oriented vertically.

I used the method of selecting two images (CTRL + left mouse click), right clicked the secondly selected image (vertical wallpaper) and chose "set as desktop background" in the context menu, to set my desktop backgrounds (wallpapers), which sets the wallpapers
correctly... but after an arbitrary amount of time parses the wallpaper changes - either switching the wallpapers around or setting the wallpaper of the primary monitor as the wallpaper of both monitors.

PS.: The cycling of wallpapers is turned off.

 

Double Monitor Setup is not connecting

To setup dual monitors, I suggest you to press Windows + P keys
and select Extend or the required option and check for status. If you are still unable to setup dual monitor, suggest you to update the Display Adapter driver by following the steps provided below and check for status.

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapters.
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
• Follow the on-screen prompts to update the driver.
