how do i prevent Windows 11 Sneaking on my system, it has trashed my system twice and i had to reload Windows 10 from scratch to fix problem

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

Preventing the Windows 11 update

Hello! Don't know if this was asked before, didn't see it in a quick glance. For various personal reasons I do not want to update to Windows 11. I already poked at my BIOS on my Asus Prime X370 Pro and Secure Boot is enabled and grayed out, TPMI is set to Firmware , so disabling those doesn't seem like the option. I have done some Googling and all they suggest is Registry hacks to block all updates, which won't do, still need the security updates and stuff for Win 10 until it reaches EOL. Hopefully by then Windows 12 will have been released and, well, won't go into those details, that's outside the scope of this message. And a friend online already said Microsoft tried to sneak in a Windows 11 update on his Windows 10 system so to be careful. So that has me a bit worried. How do you opt out, permanently, the Windows 11 update?
