Windows 10: How do I re-redownload Windows Mixed Reality purchased content after a full PC restore...

I recently had to reset my Dell PC to factory settings after having some issues with it. I had Windows Mixed Reality installed previously and had downloaded and purchased several Windows Mixed Reality games before I did the factory reset. I backed up my entire PC, as well, before restoring my PC to factory settings, which I'm assuming, includes the settings and configs for said downloaded VR content in WMR i.e. TheBlu VR experience - about $12 USD. My question is how do I re-download this content again via WMR and not have to pay for it a 2nd time?!? In the Cliff House I see TheBlu VR experience, and it takes me to the store to 'buy' it again. There should be a website i log into that should be able to get me the product again should there not? I have other Steam gaves like Beat Saber and what not that I'll also have to download again. Please help if possible with the WMR content re-downloading...

Opening the windows mixed reality portal freezes my pc

• Do you see any error code/message upon PC freeze?
  
• Are you aware of any changes that happened on the PC prior to this issue?
  

I suggest you to try the methods listed below and check if it works for you:



Method 1

Check for Updates:

One of the possible reasons for Windows Mixed Reality not working correctly is the outdated software. I suggest you to check if there are any pending updates and ensure your Windows 10 is up to date. Refer
Update Windows 10, to know how to check for updates.



Method 2

Update Firmware:

• Right click the Windows icon on the taskbar and choose
  Device Manager.
  
• Expand Mixed Reality Devices, right click the headset device, and choose
  Update Driver.
  
• Restart the machine, and open Mixed Reality portal to see if the issue persists.
  

Method 3

Uninstall and Reinstall Windows Mixed Reality:

• Go to Settings >
  Mixed reality > Uninstall
  and select Uninstall.
  
• Restart your computer. To start the setup process again, just plug your headset into your PC.

If the issue persists, check the Applications and System Event Logs in Windows (using Event Viewer) and let us know what the logs say at the time of crash.

Yes, you're correct. The Windows Mixed Reality simulator allows you to test mixed reality apps on your PC even if you don't have an immersive headset. If you are experiencing issues with turning on simulation, maybe you haven't set it up yet. Follow the
steps below on how to get started with the Windows Mixed Reality simulator:

• Click on Get started.
• Click on I agree to accept the agreement.
• To proceed through setup, click on Set up for simulation (for developers).
• Click on Set up to confirm your choice.

Once you have set that up, click on the For developers button on the left side of the Mixed Reality Portal, and you should now be able to turn the Simulation toggle switch to
On.
