Windows 10: How do I remove my own email on my family group?

I created a new administrator account to rename my user folder.


As I deleted the old admin account that was linked to Microsoft, I forgot to make it local user first, not sure if I had to do that.


What happened now is the email is now listed under 'Your Family' and I can't remove it:





Clicking Manage family settings online, I create a family group, enter my email and this appears:





What do I do to remove the user account on my computer?


Bonus question, how do I remove the blank picture in here and replace my username with my actual name:

How do I remove my son from his friend's Microsoft Family?

Follow the steps below on how you can remove the child account from the Family:

• Using the child account, sign in at https://account.microsoft.com/family.
• Click on Remove yourself under the child account.
• Click Remove to confirm.
• You will get an email confirmation that you have been removed from the family.

How can I use Microsoft Family Safety (Microsoft Family) without giving my young children an email address?

You say that children must have an account on microsoft.com to use Family Safety on my local computer. Unfortunately, a child's account on Microsoft.com require a unique email address. I cannot sign up my children using my own email address, nor can I sign
up my children using an alias to my own email address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) like *** Email address is removed for privacy ***' *** Email address is removed for privacy ***' and *** Email address is removed for privacy ***' because Microsoft.com will not accept email that contains a plus sign.

This really isn't acceptable and must get fixed asap. It's really not okay for Microsoft to require young children to sign up with an online account in order to use the Microsoft Family product line. There are other and better ways to keep child's information
secure. Why can't a parent have a Microsoft.com account, and have children associated with that account? That's what Netflix does.

For parents out there who agree with me that young children should not need their own email address in order to use Microsoft Family Safety, I have created an online petition at windows.uservoice.com to encourage Microsoft to rethink their strategy with
Microsoft Family.

Spam in my email... how do I stop it?

Right you are mrsemi....I use hotmail on the forums and only really go to two forums. TPU and AnandTech. I get all the Viagra, Penis Enlargement, Pain Meds, Lasik Eye surgery, even friggin Facebook,(wouldn't go there if they paid me) the list is endless. I keep putting in the domain address to block senders (my blocked domain list is as long as your arm) the spammers just change the address and I keep getting the same crap. *Frown
