I am the parent in my family and have a new Microsoft account because my old account was hacked. For context, Microsoft disabled the old parent account including getting rid of all my purchases which was stupid and they wouldn't let me have access to it again. Now I want to add my son to my new account as a family member but it says he's tied to the old one which was hacked. I previously asked them when they disabled my account if they could help with this and the guy refused.I tried to delete his account just now but when I try to delete it, it tries to send a code to his email but nothing ge

Remove Your Son from the Old Family Group: Since your wife cannot manage the old family group after leaving it, you need to ensure she has left the old family group properly and is no longer associated with it. It might be necessary to rejoin the old family group temporarily to remove your son's account. Here’s how you can do that:
   
   • Have your wife rejoin the old family group (if she can).
     
   • Once she’s back in the old family group, she can remove your son from that group.
     
   • After removing your son, she can leave the old family group again.
     
2. Invite Your Son to the New Family Group: After successfully removing your son from the old family group, you can now invite him to join your new family group. Here’s how:
   
   • Go to the Microsoft Family Safety website: Microsoft Family Safety.
     
   • Sign in with your Microsoft account.
     
   • Select “Add a family member” and enter your son's email address.
     
   • Your son will receive an invitation email. He needs to accept this invitation to join your family group.
     
3. Check and Confirm:
   
   • Ensure that your son accepts the invitation.
     
   • Once he accepts, check the family group settings to confirm that he is now a member of your new family group.

Can't add my son to my family group

Hello Martin, this is Emily.

Because your son is 8 years old, he won't be able to leave the family group by himself. When you log into his account and go to the Family section, can you tell who is the organizer? Only that organizer can remove your son from the group. In fact, that organizer has to remove the consent first, then remove your son's account, all needs to be done in organizer's account.
