Windows 10: How do I remove password complexity requirement?

Hi guys i've been trying for a pretty long time to remove password complexity requirements on my local account and i found this website:

I'm using windows 10 home, ver 10.0.18363

the difference between the website's instructions and mine is when I right click in the command prompt it pastes instantly, I don't have to click paste to put the code in, but afterwards I still can't change my password to a simpler one. Help please?

Hi all

it's now day 4 .searching for solution

I don't want to install new windows

my problem is windows not accept any password or remove password , always say's "not meet password complexity" ,although no password entered !!!!

I changed and reset security policy many time > no luck , what can I do??

Is there a trojan csrss.exe? If so how do I eliminate it.

Do we change her Microsoft password using her pc using the following steps?

• Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, and then click Change a password.
• Type your old password followed by a new password as indicated, and then type the new password again to confirm it.
• Press Enter.

 

Disable the password complexity

Are you using Pro or Home ( gpedit is not available in Home) ?

I've never used a password, and Windows Home has not hassled me to create one, much less a complex one.

My Win10 is up to date (just finished the 1909 update).

I wouldn't even know where to enable the complexity option, but I see (in an article I haven't read) it was available as far back as XP,

so it looks to be a voluntary option ? It may just be that because I have never set up a password that I'm not being pestered to

use a complex one with the current Win10 update ?

(btw - My machines have never been infected with virus, or malware going back to '04. I do not keep banking details or
