  2. How do I delete powercfg requests overrides?

I recently used the "powercfg /requestsoverride" command in an attempt to fix an issue with my display not turning off. Turns out that this didn't help with the issue, and I am wondering if there is any way to delete these overrides or reset to defaults.

  3. How do I delete powercfg requests overrides?

Hi Thomas. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 year Windows MVP, and Volunteer Guardian Moderator here to help you.

The writer of this article demonstrates how to release a powercfg /requestoverride in the paragraph starting "To disable the override..."

Further information going deeper into using powercfg to troubleshoot Sleep settings is available in these resources I regularly call upon:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you will wait to rate my post, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.
