Windows 10: How do I replace a product key for the same product ordered?

I bought Microsoft for Windows 10 for my daughter.via a third party (enaba.com). I entered the product key when requested...only afterwards realised that she was signed in her Windows Store login so wouldn't match up with the product key in my account. I think this is the reason the game only loads in free trial mode??

So I decided to order the product again to get a new product key and uninstalled the game from the laptop. I made sure the Windows Store sign-in was my account by the time I entered the new product code. However, Microsoft tells me that I already have the product and won't accept the new product key - just keeps the old one.

Does anyone know how i can replace a product key for the same product so that Windows Store will let my daughter play the full game version that I have paid for TWICE?!

There is still a way to search for your product key. Kindly follow the steps below for you to know your product key:

• Press Windows key + X
• Click Command Prompt (admin)
• Enter the following command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
• Then hit Enter

The product key will be revealed, copy the product key then enter it.

Since the laptop has no battery compartment wherein the product key is usually located, we recommend that you follow these steps to find your Windows product key:

• Press Windows + X and select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Enter this command: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
  and hit Enter.
