Windows 10: How do I reset Windows Settings to default size?(Start Menu>Setti

Hi guys,
may I know how I can resize the size of Windows Settings (start menu> settings) to the default size?
I know that folder sizes can be resized back to default using a bat file done by Brink, Reset Folder View Settings to Default in Windows 10

However, that doesn't work for the Windows Settings (applies for all the options inside Windows Settings: Update & Security, Time & Language, Gaming, Ease of Access etc.)

Any help will be appreciated thanks!

Hello. Try Start>Settiings>Personal>input>word completion. Uncheck "suggest words" and "enable autocorrect".

Settings -> Personalization -> Colors (or possibly Themes)

 

Just drag sides to desired size of window, next time you open it, it should stay that size and shape.

Yeah I can, but I would hope to have the "default" size straight after when you do a fresh install on Windows.

I hope I can get the default size without reinstalling the entire OS again, as crazy as it sounds. *chuckle (OCD acting up)

 

Well, default size and shape depends on resolution, it's not one for all, so when you do clean install, it is default size in that case.

 

You are right.

The script by Brink Reset Folder View Settings to Default in Windows 10 actually sets the folder size back to "default". So I assume there should be a registry that can be reset similar to the folder size, for the Windows Setting folder size.

 

Never bothered to go that far. That script would only reset view/content settings, not sizes.

 

That is odd, because it does reset the sizes. I just tried it and it works for folder sizes. Why do you say that it didn't reset the sizes?

 

Maybe I never noticed it but Settings window is not a folder, it's an APP.

 

Install some new App from the Store, open it for the first time, that should be default size, lay the Settings App on top, stretch it to match.
That should be good enough.
