how do I save when my right mouse button doesn't work

mouse is not working right


unfortunately there isn't a lot to a usb mouse. what i would suggest is checking the power management settings on it.

Right-click the start menu and choose device manager
Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers at the very bottom
Double-click on each HUB you have listed, click Power Management Tab at the top, and UNCHECK "Allow this computer to turn off this device to save power"
You may have HUBs called Generic and Root Hub. Perform the step above on All of them.

If you continue to have the issue, i would imagine your mouse is malfunctioning. Perhaps try another mouse just to be sure. This will help you determine if it is in fact the mouse of computer causing the issue.

Method 1: Update drivers.

Updating the drivers will make sure that your device will be

compatible with your current Operating System version. To update your

Method 2: Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

Running the
troubleshooter
will
automatically troubleshoot
any issue that will be detected. To run the Troubleshooter, follow these steps:

  On the search bar, type

Run SFC Scan.

  Type
  sfc /scannow
  and hit
  Enter.   
  

Method 4:
Run DISM Tool.  

DISM
will
restore any Corrupted System Image
that causes the
issues
on your icons and applications. To perform
DISM, follow these steps:  

• 
  Run
  Command Prompt as Administrator.  
  
• 
  Type the following command:  
  
  • 
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /scanhealth  
    
  • 
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth  
    

NOTE:
This might take a while to finish scanning.
Do not cancel.

If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your laptop, computer, or the hardware
manufacturer for further assistance.
