When I try to move most if not all open application windows to a different position on my desktop screen, Windows 10 insists on resizing it to full-screen thus blocking out sight of all other apps. I have tried disabling all the "functions" in the Settings Tab (which DOESN'T resize when moved btw) but nothing will stop app windows such as Notepad from snapping to full screen.

What the hell is wrong with Microsoft that they can't fix this simple but infuriating nonsense that has no practical value whatsoever? None of the Advice Website instructions have any effect whatsoever.

Can anyone this side of Oblivion tell me how to stop this useless action that serves only to cause stress?

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Windows 10 Tweaks

That doesn't stop windows update from grabbing them on next run, at least it didn't back in the RTM days. It simply stops a secondary process from installing them immediately.
