    How do I turn of joint resize in Windows 11 Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621?


    Since one of the last windows updates, whenever I have to windows snapped to the left and right edge of the screen, they are resized together. I had this kind of joint resize switched off. Looking at tutorials in the internet, they show a checkbox in the system settings, under multitasking > snap. I do have certain other checkboxes there, but not any more the checkbox to turn of joint resize. It was also mentioned to change a registry entry from 1 to 0. However, looking into the registry, that entry is already 0.

    I should explain that I am not updating from Windows 10 to 11. I am attempting to update from Windows 11 Pro 21H1 to Windows 11 Pro 22H2, from Build 22000.1042 to Build 22621.xxx.
