Windows 10: How do I turn off AntiMalware Service Executable

    How do I turn off AntiMalware Service Executable


    I need to turn off this process, this program alone is taking up 20% of my memory doing nothing, I have 8 GB of RAM and I really don't care for this process. How do I turn it off. I have tried making an exclusion in the windows defender settings, and I have tried editing the registry files for this service but I still won't stop or at least use less memory. How do i turn it off?

    Antimalware Service Executable problem

    I am still having the problem even with the latest prerelease build. The Antimalware Service Executable process is often running and taking a lot of CPU, disk and memory. The same The Antimalware Service Executable -> Windows Defender Service ...
    Too often the PC (an I7 one, 8 GB EliteBook HP) is stuck and even the response of a keyboard entry is very slow!!

    Any suggestions?
