Windows 10: How do I uninstall KB5033372?

I want to uninstall this security update because it has caused several issues, both minor and major. For instance, I had to seek support because my PC stopped installing updates. While they didn't confirm this update was the cause, I never encountered this issue before installing it. Now, when I try to uninstall it, my PC claims it's necessary, which I find hard to believe.

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

 

Update KB5033372 failed to install (0x8000ffff)

1. From admin Command Prompt, please run chkdsk c: /r and reboot.

2. After finishing chkdsk and returning to Windows, run ListChkdskResults (credits to SleepyDude of Sysnative forums for the tool.)

Share the log file on OneDrive.

3. Download and run the offline installer windows10.0-kb5033372-x64_822cb06e298fd32637584b623f2cdaa3468f42a1.msu for KB5033372 and run it.

The version of the update that you want to uninstall is a security update, which is the reason why you are unable to perform the uninstallation of the update successfully.
