    How do I use more than 512GB of RAM with Windows 10 Pro?


    Hello, I own a server board with around 1.5TB of ram and would prefer to use Windows 10 with it, but I can only use 512gb in windows 10 pro? How do I increase this limit? Thank you.

    Windows 10 Upgrade version and Ram

    I am currently running Windows 7 pro 64 bit with 32GB Ram, if I accept the upgrade to 10 what version will I get, as I have found 2 different answers to how much RAM windows 10 will recognize.

    • 128GB
    • 10GB (home)
    • 512GB (Pro)
    What is the correct amount and since I have a pro 64bit version will I get the 10 Pro version.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    How do I use more than 512GB of RAM with Windows 10 Pro?

    If I Allow My Surface Pro 2 512GB to Upgrade to Windows 10 Will I Lose the HostedNetwork Feature?

    Surface Pro 2 512GB Windows 8.1 Pro

    Currently I am able to use the hostednetwork feature on my Surface Pro 2 512GB. It is my understanding that Microsoft is depreciating this feature. Will I lose this feature if I upgrade to Windows 10 Pro?
