    How Do Updates Resume After Being Paused?


    I have been pausing updates for up to 35 days. When the specified day finally arrives, I do not see any activity after going to Settings, Update & Security.

    Yesterday I waited 20 minutes after boot to see if any activity would start automatically. I checked Services and Windows Update was running.

    Clicking "Resume Updates" does start the process and I then see the various updates that will download and install.

    Is it possible that updates are downloading in the background or would updates resume the following day?

    I'm running Windows 10 Home, Version 1909, OS Build 18363.1198

    Pausing and resuming updates

    Hi there! I was wondering if it is possible to start downloading an update, pause it and resume it on the next day. I am very low on data (1.5gb/day) which I cannot spend entirely on update. So does anyone know if it is possible to pause and resume updates?
