    How do we get microsoft to quit destroying computers?


    I started using computers in the days of DOS. Computers where stable then. I would by a new computer every few years as technology advanced. It has been years since I have bought a new computer.


    The reason I do not buy computers is because Microsoft destroys them. After a few months, windows updates and nothing works, The operating system becomes unstable. I go to do something that should take a few minutes and end up spending days, even months attempting to get the computer working again. I would like the computer to be a reliable tool that works for me. Bill Gates vision of PC 's in every home was a great visions. Computers where very help through Windows NT.


    Today, Microsoft windows has made using PC's so challenging that you have to be a computer programmer to keep them working. Even programmers I work with agree. They have the same issue, Microsoft updates and they have to work on the operating system to get it stable. unfortunately, I do not have the same skills as my coworkers.


    Any advice for PC users. Computers are a very useful and product tool when they work. I would not mind buying new hardware if the investment was worth it.

    Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

    I tried to upgrade Windows 10 about two weeks age, and it completely destroyed my desktop. The computer will not do anything at all. I have tried dealing with these chat virtual agent. I will never buy another Microsoft product.
    They have no support. If anyone knows how to restore the computer I would appreciate it. I even tried to reformat. I will only do up to 40% and then quit. Ten it restores that. What junk to deal with
