  2. File Explorer no longer gives title/properties for each file after April 2019 Update

After updating Windows 10 yesterday, my file explorer only shows pictures/symbols and not titles or properties of files. I assume there is a setting that controls this. Can anyone identify what I need to change?

    Thanks,

    Bk

Changing File Properties (i.e. moving Subtitle to Title)

Thank you Vijay, maybe I didn't explain myself clearly, but your suggestion will result in all files having their Title set to the same Subtitle. What I'm after is each file having its Title reset to its current Subtitle without having to right click each
file, select Properties -> Details and changing them one by one. Please see below an example of a batch of files I wish to amend...

    Regards

    Rick

  4. How do you change a file properties to show "title" in the MS Explorer?

Microsoft Project 2016 file properties vs Windows/File Explorer file properties/details

Thanks for the quick response, Robert. Unfortunately, I tried, in MS Project, to populate the property fields using File / Info / Proj Info / Advanced Properties. Here is that dialog box:

How do you change a file properties to show "title" in the MS Explorer? [IMG]

When I populate them in MS Project, they are accepted in MS Project. But, they don't show up in those similarly-named columns in file explorer (title, subject, author, company, category, comments).

Two fields don't exist in file explorer (manager, keywords).

Conversely, When I try to populate them in File Explorer, using View / Details Pane, I get an error message:

How do you change a file properties to show "title" in the MS Explorer? [IMG]

I could use some help understanding the error message or the workaround.

This seems to be an issue for MS Project, because it works for Excel files (i.e., I can populate a property field in File Explorer / View / Details Pane).
