    So the xbox game bar uses only my built in mic on laptop rather than using my headsets microphone even my headsets mic is the default. I disable the microphone that built in the laptop but game bar still used the same microphone even it was disabled. So i decided to uninstall the drivers from my laptop so game bar would not use this and use my headsets mic in the theory but no now game bar decided to not record from my headsets microphone. I have tried every copy paste solution you guys answered to other people and most of the link are not even working and the solutions were nonsense now im as

    Are you checking the USB mic remains the default device while in Game Bar?

    I understand that you are facing issues while recording microphone audio using game bar while playing games.



    I would suggest you to try troubleshooting Game Bar and see if that helps. Refer the article

    In addition, you can also check if the Microphone for game bar is enabled under privacy settings.



    1. Go to Settings (press Windows +
      I key together) > Privacy.
    2. On the left hand pane scroll down and look for
      Microphone
      .
    3. Toggle Allow apps to access Microphone
      to ON.
    4. Under Choose which Microsoft Store app can access your Microphone toggle Xbox game bar to
      ON.
    5. Restart the game bar.
