    How do you delete recent files list from 'File' tab


    Hi


    I've searched around and can't seem to find an answer to this one. In microsoft works 9.0 spreadsheet on the 'File' tab [top left corner of program] is there a way to delete the list of recent used files? There is no option from the program itself so maybe it will probably involve a registry edit. I'm on windows10.

    you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

    to prevent it from autopopulating try making the reg key
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
    \Applets\Paint\Recent File List read only
