  1. How do you disable loading of the last user profile after restart on Windows 10 home?

As far as I'm aware there is no way.

Disabling Settings/Account/Sign-in Options/Use my Sign-in Info to automatically set up my device . . .

    doesn't work

Changing various registry keys doesn' t work.

It's not a matter of having a password set, as it will load your account with the screen locked if you have a password.

You can see the last user logged in with an administrator account.

Disabling smart account switching allowing you to send the current account login to the background and login with another account does the trick, but they shouldn't need to be linked features.

You can log in to the last user logged in before the restart and log it out, leaving the PC with no user logged in as is should be after a restart.

    :)

  4. How do you disable loading of the last user profile after restart on Windows 10 home?

The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded.

    Hello,

When attempting to login to my computer, I get the following message:

"The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in.

    User profile cannot be loaded."

I referred to this Help article,You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error
    message,

but the only difference is I only have one user profile on this computer. So, I can't login with another user to go through the steps listed in this post.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
