Windows 10: How do you force load apps as 16:9?

QuestionSo I use 1366 x 768 Windows laptop, but it's bugging me how old applications like MIDIJam shows a prompt, and the resolutions are only 4:3 aspect ratios like 1024 x 768. Do you know how to break the limit and force the app to load in 16:9 instead of 4:3? MIDIJam is a program that visualizes MIDI files as they are played.

16:9 , 16:10 or HDTV??

I am not 100% sure if i will go for 16:9 or 16:10 (most likely 16:10)
so i got an idea , i will go in a computer shop this week-end & i'll check for 2 monitor of same size one 16:9 & the other 16:10 , then i should know which format between the two i like the most.

While i am there i'll try a few mice & see which one i'll like holding in my hand (to get the feel)
Any suggestion on a wireless mouse? (no more then $60.xx)

When I used Linuxmint it is one of the resolutions that was listed in the display setting window it reads 1680 X 1050 (16:10). I will admit the first time I ever saw a resolution like that. But if you looked at 1920 X 1080 it list it as 1920 X 1080 (16:9),
that makes sense.

Is this for a Laptop projecting on an External monitor or is this a desktop? If laptop, are you projecting as Duplicate, Extend or 2nd monitor only?

16:9 is the new standard aspect ratio. You can barely see 16:10 (i.e. 1920x1200) nowadays that is why in Windows 10 Setting, most of the aspect ratios are for 4:3 and 16:9. If the 16:10 aspect ratios (280:800, 1440:900, 1680:1050, 1920:1200 or 2560:1600) are
available from the list of Display resolution options, it means there is no way of setting it to 16:10.
