How do you remove a Trojan Virus for a MacAfee anti virus product that keeps appearing as you use your computer with a critical virus alert that asks you to scan. I have used the windows defender scan both full and quick scan along with the off line scan but each time it indicates no virus found., yet the McAfee noticei indicating a critical virus found keeps popping up with a peurpeuraveric.com associated with it. I have shut the computer down after the scan but it does not help. I need some help.!!!.

How do I remove a Trojan or Virus?

First, note that there is no such thing as a "Trojan virus." It's either a trojan *or* a virus. Trojans and viruses are two different kinds of malware.

So assuming you have a trojan, what trojan is it (what is its name?)? How do you know you have it?

What anti-virus program do you run? And what other anti-malware software? Have you tried to remove it using these?
