  1. How do you remove write protection from a "Microsoft Virtual DVD-ROM"?

Hello, I have a problem with a Write protected .ISO, which I installed as a Virtual disk for more space. I don't know if I should give the download link or not, but I got it and when I try to format it, it says that it is write protected. Now, like any PC user, I tried ALL methods of getting this to work, with each failing after the next. I am lost and don't know how to remove the write protection. If there is anyone out there who can help me, please do! I have lost all hope on trying to get this thing to work, and I might delete it soon.

    :)

  4. How do you remove write protection from a "Microsoft Virtual DVD-ROM"?

    Cannot write to DVD/CD-Rom

Running the latest version of Windows 10. Not sure when this occurred as I don't write to the DVD-CD-Rom drive often.

I created the DVD as read/write data to be used similar to a flash drive back in 2017..

I can read the files on the drive, but I cannot copy files from the C: drive to the DVD/CD-ROM drive.

Any help on fixing this problem is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    An update:

I can write to the DVD-CDROM file by using the CMD: copy

But I cannot drag & drop files from c: drive to the DVD/CD-ROM drive via Windows.
