    Media Player in Windows 10

    Hi,

I realize that you are facing the issue with Windows Media Player in playing the songs in order.

As per the issue description, the shuffle mode might be activated and hence the songs are playing in random order.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to turn off the shuffle mode and check if the issue is resolved.

To turn off shuffle or repeat, do one or both of the following:

    • To turn off shuffle items, click the
      Turn
      shuffle off button.

    • To turn off repeat items, click the
      Turn
      repeat off button.

Shuffle and repeat will remain off until you click the buttons again to
    turn them on.

Note: In Now Playing mode, you might need to resize the window to expose the
Turn shuffle on and Turn repeat on buttons.

Hope the information helps. Kindly write back to us with the updated status of the issue for further assistance on Windows. We will be glad to assist you.

    Thank you.

How do you repeat your shuffle on Windows 10?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
