Windows 10: How hot should my CPU be running?

So my new laptop's fans are coming on every now and then which I guess is normal... but is it? So for example I'm watching Netflix on the Windows 10 app... fans come on...


They're on right now, and this window is the only one I have open Edge, just this one tab


I installed Open Hardware Monitor, and the CPU is running at about 55-65 degrees celsius.


Fans still going...


My CPU is an Intel i5-8265U...

CPU temp -- is this running too hot ?


Hi there

running a fairly heavy but not unduly load the CPU seems to be running at about 75 deg C peak -- Avg about 61 deg C.
Is this likely to cause trouble over prolonged periods.

I know that these devices can run extremely hot but I don't want to break it if adding more cooling can sort it out.

Any hardware gurus out there --is this OK or should I try and take remedial action.

When playing games the hot keys are active

I suggest you to follow the steps below to disable Hot Keys and check if that helps.

• 
  Right click anywhere on your desktop screen and select Graphics Options.
  
• 
  Navigate to Hot Keys and then click on Disable.
  
• 
  Check if issue persists.

opteron 144 runs very hot

my brother's CPU runs at 60deg at load, it has a gigabyte G-power pro, AS5
it runs at 2.7ghz at 1.45v

is this how hot they should run?
the stepping is CACJE
im worried because my athlon 3200+ runs 32deg max, same setup, 1.45v and 2.4ghz
