Windows 10: How How do I find out who’s controlling my pin requirements?

How do I find out who’s controlling my pin requirements? My laptop has started asking me to change my pin every 6 weeks and if I check requirements it says “my organisation requires this configuration” the thing is…. I’m not part of an organisation it’s a private laptop. The only thing is possibly my kids school somehow maybe they have hit stay signed in? But they can’t seem to help me. Is there a way to find out, override and reset my pin to 4 digits? I’m running windows 10 too! Thanks

You will be asked for a PIN when connecting your wireless Xbox One controller via Bluetooth on Windows 10 if your Bluetooth drivers are not updated. It is also possible that you have to reset the controller to remove the PIN. To resolve your concern, restart
your controller by following the steps below:

• Power off the controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button on the controller for 6 seconds.
• Press the Xbox button again to power it back on.
• Connect your Xbox Wireless Controller to your PC using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

I have exactly the same problem.

I already have:

• updated my windows 10 (3rd November 2017)
• Reset the controller
• Updated the bluetooth drivers (Windows has determined that the best driver for this device is already installed ... )
• Connected the controller with a USB cable (Microsoft XBox One Controllers works fine if wired)

but the system ask for a PIN

Any suggestion?

Step 1: Opening Control Panel in Windows 10.

  Open Run command box by simultaneously pressing Windows and R keys (Windows + R).

  Control and then press Enter key to open the classic Control Panel.
  

Step 2: Access Control Panel in Windows 10 from desktop.

• 
  Right-click on the Start button (Windows logo button at the bottom-left corner of the desktop) and then click Control Panel to open the same.
  

Step 3: Launch Control Panel using search.

• 
  Open Start menu or screen.
  
• 
  In the search box, enter Control Panel and then press Enter key to open the same.
  

Note: You can quickly access the search with the help of Windows + C hotkey.

Step 4: Create Control Panel shortcut on desktop.

• Right-click on desktop, click New, and then click Shortcut.
• In Type the location of the item box, type the following path.

• Click Next button.
• In the Type a name for this shortcut box, type Control Panel, and click Finish button. You can now double-click on the Control Panel icon on the desktop to quickly launch the same.

Step 5: Pin Control Panel to Start or taskbar.

  In the Start search box, type Control Panel.
  
• 
  When you see search results, right-click on Control Panel entry and then click Pin to Start to pin it to the Start menu or screen.
  

Note: Clicking Pin to taskbar will pin the Control Panel to taskbar.
