    MR GATES, PLEASE TELL ME, how long will MS support 950XL? "Windows 10 mobile".


    It seems an Update may eventually render my device unusable and I have no option to even turn off updates. It is really scary to give anyone that much power over me.

    I reset a new phone I received from eBay and even with updates, it will not allow me to connect to my Microsoft Account, so, no browser, no downloads of any other apps from the store, no One Drive, no backup of photos. All it can do is basically make a phone call, get email from gmail, keep my contacts, that not nothing but, aren't those functions what a smart phone is for?


    AND, while I am on the subject, I ASK YOU TO SAVE YOUR COMPANY AND START OFFERING THE SERVICE APPLE DOES. AND, if you would just partner with Apple and improve their iPhone with a Windows 10 mobile option, the TWO OF YOU COULD BEAT OUT ANDROID and that is the only way it will happen.

    Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.
