Windows 10: How much data does GroupMe app use?

Hello community, We have never had phones with data but will soon need to include data for a family member who will be traveling and working out of state. I have a few data packages I can choose from, but I'm unsure what we'll actually need and I'm trying to keep costs down. As this family member will have WiFi for much of the time, I'm primarily concerned with the GroupMe app he'll be required to use through data for work. Can anyone tell me about how much data it uses per month? I realize it may be different depending on how much you use it. I'm just looking for some baseline example

Can I make this GroupMe thing that just showed up, go away?

go to ur app list. tap and hold the groupme app till u see option to uninstall

 

Family Room to GroupMe

It would also be great if there was some support for shifting the data in my current Family Room over to GroupMe. There are loads of shared appointments, images, notes and conversation threads and no way to sync them out into GroupMe.
