Windows 10: How much of the ram is accessable for windows?

Discus and support How much of the ram is accessable for windows? in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; So, I updraded my laptop's ram from 4gb to 8 gb and I am not sure if all of the 8gb ram is consumable by windows.     So, I updraded my laptop's ram from 4gb to 8 gb and I am not sure if all of the 8gb ram is consumable by windows. Is there any way to check it out?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
