I figured a restart would probably solve the problem, and I managed to shut down all my running programs, but I couldn't figure out how to access the Power item on the Start menu to choose Restart, so I ended up having to shut down by pressing the power switch on the CPU. I can access the Start menu using the appropriate key on my keyboard, but I can't figure out how to get to the items on the

Accessing the START Icon at the Bottom Left of my Desktop Computer

I'd sent a post half-an-hour and I meant to say I can't access the START menu at the bottom left of my desktop computer by left clicking it like I always do to get the listings of all the functions. What I have to do now is RIGHT click the START menu.
    Any suggestions?

Can't edit start menu left side items

    Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community. I apologies for delay in response. I will certainly help you with this.

You can remove any unwanted app from “most used” app list and that will replace by other less used app. To remove the app, right click on app and click on “Don’t show in list”.

To remove the folder that appears on the Start menu, I suggest you to follow the below given steps and check if it works:

    • Press Windows key and type Start settings in search box and hit enter.
    • Click on Start in the left panel.
    • Click or tap on the “Choose which folder appears on Start”.
    • Toggle the button off for the folder that you want to remove from the Start menu.

Hope this information helps. Reply with the updated issue detail for further assistance.

    Thank you.
