Windows 10: How to activate windows 10

Respected sir/ma'am,My windows 10 pro was already activated, but when my laptop was affected by virus, I had to reset my PC. After I reseted my subscription was gone.I want to buy a windows 10 pro product key online from microsoft but I am not able to do so.Please help.

I'll revert back to windows 7 then.

When I still was on windows 7, about a year ago I added 4GB extra ram which is a total of 8GB now,
is that causing the problem?
