The readyboost tab is missing but is enabled in services.why?

    Hi,

Device compatibility is one of the reasons why the ReadyBoost tab is missing. Kindly provide the following answers to the questions below to further isolate the issue:

    • What is the make and model of the flash drive that you are using for ReadyBoost?
    • Have you tried inserting the flash drive to another USB port?

In the meantime, we suggest updating the driver for your USB drive. This will help us identify if the issue is caused by outdated drivers. Kindly follow the steps on this article to update it:

  3. Readyboost on Windows 10

    Hello,

ReadyBoost improves the performance of the PC by using external USB flash drives as a hard disk cache. Commonly, this feature is supported in Windows Vista and 7.

With regards to Windows 10, we have to determine if the said feature is supported by your system. We suggest that you check yours. Insert a flash drive and access the
Properties dialog, and select the ReadyBoost tab. Upon accessing the ReadyBoost tab, a series of test will be initiated by the operating system. This is to determine if the drive is compatible with ReadyBoost.

Kindly get back to us once you have the result.
