  1. How to Apply SecConf Framework Baselines?

    Hello,

Regarding the brilliant Microsoft SecCon Framework:

    https://github.com/microsoft/SecCon-Framework/blob/master/windows-security-configuration-framework.md

1 I see lists of recommended settings, but... how do I apply them? Don't tell me I need to **manually** set each one!

2 Is the SecCon Framework officiallyish supported by Microsoft?

3 It appears the "Security Compliance Toolkit SCT" works with baselines, and comes with several baselines E.g. something like "Windows version 20H2 security baseline", "Windows 10 Edge Browser security baseline", etc. Do these baselines correspond to the SecCon Framework? Or do they overlap?

    :)

  2. Microsoft .NET Framework, Unhandled exception

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

    Try the following steps:

    • Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    • Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
    • Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer
    • Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer.
    Regards,

  3. Windows 10 infinite restart black screen

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
