  2. Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?

Win 10 Pro. 1709. Logged in as admin. I don't want to shut off UAC completely but that message gets pretty annoying at times. Is the only way to solve this is to use Task Scheduler or a third party app? or is there a setting that I am not aware of that I can just manually white list an app so I do not get that message any more? I'm talking to you VLC Media Player, CrystalDiskInfo, FarStone Image Viewer, Agent Ransack and a whole host of others. It is also not inconceivable that I made a change at some point that is bringing up that annoying message. TIA.

  4. How to avoid message "Do you allow this app to make changes to your device?"

Autoamtically disable "Allow your PC to be discoverable by other PCs and devices .." popup message

    Hi,

There are several reasons why an issue occurs, sometimes this may be caused by some files or components that are broken or missing on the system. To sort out your concern, we suggest that you change the network location in Local Security Policy. To do this,
    you may follow these steps:

    • Press Windows + R key on your keyboard to open Run command, type
      secpol.msc and press Enter.
    • Click the Network List Manager Policies on the left-side pane of the window.
    • Double-click on the Network Name Network.
    • A new window will open, click on the Network Location tab, under
      Location type section, select Public.
    • Under User permissions, select User cannot change location, click
      Apply > OK.
    • Close the Security Policy window and check if the issue persists.

Note: You may be prompted for an administrator password and confirmation. Type the password and confirm to proceed. This process may affect the behavior of your device, follow the steps carefully to avoid any
    issues.

Let us know if the suggestion works for you.
