Windows 10: How to block children family accounts from installing anything and everything.

I have went through question after question. I want to block ALL installs, Microsoft store, MineCraft, VPN, etc etc etc while they are logged in on the family children account. I already have all settings locked down yet my kids can hop on a website and download pretty much any exe file.

Family Safety weekly report being CC'd to my children

Hi,

As the information of Family Safety Report are going to children by default, we would like you to do a refresh on the child account and see if the issue persists.

To remove/re-add a child account, please follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to Family Safety using the parent account.

2. Click Manage list of Family Members.

3. Select the child account, and then click Remove. Click Remove to confirm.

After troubleshooting, we would suggest you to add the children account. The reports will not be CC to children.

How to block apps for a family member account

I want to block certain apps for my child's MS family account. Everyone says to do this under the "Apps, games & media" setting for family children account. However, I cannot find anyplace on that page to add apps I want to block.

If anyone knows the specific answer, please let me know.

In fact, I removed "Chrome" from the list of blocked apps, but now I don't see how to add it back.

"It is overbearing for Microsoft to require children to either have an e-mail or phone number"

The (unhelpful technician):

"I suggest you to follow the steps how to create the child account as below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key and select settings.
• Click on Account and select Family and other users.
• Then click add someone else to this pc and select add child’s account
• Enter the child’s email address and click on Next."
