Windows 10: How to bridge "Remote NDIS based internet sharing (android)"?

Hi,

My neighbor is sharing wifi internet with me, but I have to connect through Android because the signal is too weak inside my home. So Android is next to the window, tethered to Windows 10. This works fine.

But I'd like to bridge that connection to my LAN NIC so other computers have internet. However, when I select both network interfaces and bridge them, nothing works anymore. It freezes explorer for a good minute, cmd ping says no resources and setting an IP manually says either timeout or no route to host.

I'm pretty sure this used to work in Windows 7, but I can't for the life of me figure it out on 10.

Is it possible to bridge an Android shared connection on Windows 10?

Windows 10 Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device not connected

The same error code still appears in Device Manager. I've tried disabling it and re enabling it but that didn't make any difference. Before the Remote NDIS internet sharing device was working perfectly. I wanted to reset my computer and reinstall windows
and now the Remote NDIS internet sharing device isn't detected anymore. I have never touched or move any connections and i'm not sure where to find this Remote NDIS internet sharing device connection.
