Windows 10: How to change touch keyboard layout like hardware keyboard type in Korean Microsoft IME

Hello, I'm using Microsoft IME to write the Korean language with a 3 Beolsik Final keyboard layout as a hardware keyboard. It works very well. As hoping to see the same layout I'm using, I turned on the touch keyboard on-screen keyboard. However, only 2 Beolsik layout seems to be available since there's no option to change the touch keyboard layout itself. Could you please help me to switch it?FYI, 2 Beolsik and 3 Beolsik are equivalent to QWERTY and Dvorak in English keyboard layout, respectively.

Korean keyboard layout changed

I have been using the Korean Microsoft IME keyboard on Windows 10 without any problems but then suddenly it changed the layout of the letters so that it includes more letters that the basic Korean keyboard (double letters too) and now for instance when I
press the G key instead of the letter ㅎ in types the letter ㅡ. Since I'm used to the old layout I would of course like to set it back.

I have tried also tried installing the Microsoft Old Hangul keyboard but I can't get it to actually type in Hangul just in Latin letters.

Any help will be appreciated!

 

Qwerty keyboard layout/English input, Korean output

Hi,

I've been interested in adding Korean as a language to my computer, but realize that after installing it, and begin to type with Korean selected, it uses the Korean keyboard layout instead of the Qwerty layout. I see no options for this in the settings, nor does Google have a downloadable IME.

I want to be able to type in Korean with the English layout, and then have the computer translate that into Korean text.
I know that Google's Japanese IME does this, but it seems that Micrrosoft's Korean IME does not allow this.

I haven't been able to find an option for this, and the issue remains, despite changing the layout in the settings.
Is there perhaps a way for Microsoft's Korean IME to use the Qwerty layout, or do I perhaps need to download a third-party IME?

Did you try changing the keyboard layout after reinstalling the language?

Please press Windows key + Spacebar to switch to the keyboard you desire. You can see a list of keyboard layouts available after pressing the Windows key + Spacebar and there select the Korean keyboard and check if the issue persists.
