Windows 10: How to change where my screenshots are saved to?

Hey reddit! I hate having to click on the popup that comes up everytime a take a screenshot with the snipping tool so I searched up how to take a quick ss. So, I tried using it and it just saves them all to my desktop. I absolutley hate this because I CAN NOT have a messy desktop. I hate it. I just want to save all my screenshots to my actual ss folder in pictures. I don't have a location tab in properties when I click the properties for the specific folder. PLEASE HELP!

Recent (Save Files) - Change Default Settings to OneDrive

Hello -
Thanks for the return. Before I undertake changing the Registry, I have a question.
The steps in my Registry, for my version of Windows 10, were a bit different, but I think I eventually got to the right spot.
The last step is to change the number of places you want to list in Recent Places. In my case, the default Max Display listed 50 as the number. So, if I were to change that number, how do I know the Save As page will be one of those places? Or, a similar question, will this registry change delete the tab Recent from my Save As page? This is what I would like to happen.
When I received my computer in Nov. 2016, the Recent tab was not listed in the Save As page. Something caused it to be added over time. Which brings me to this second question. Would there be any benefit in deleting the changed registry listing and reverting back to the default listing? See attachment.

No more saving a screenshot when press ALT+PRINT after changing storage place

There are several factors that may cause this issue. To better assist you, we suggest that you answer the following questions:

• When you press the keys to take a screenshot, can you paste the image to paint or to any photo editor apps?
  
• Have you made sure that the auto save screenshot has a check mark in OneDrive? (Right-click OneDrive icon in the notification area> Click Settings> In the Auto save tab> Put a check in
  Automatically save screenshots I capture to OneDrive box)
• What other troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
