How to check Macrium backup image file (MRIMG) is valid?

I initiated a copy 40MB MRIMG from a failing HDD to a new HDD. But during the copying process, I believe something went wrong and abruptly stopped.

The new HDD shows the file. But without restoring (which I don't intend to do now), how do I check whether it's a working image?

Restoring Windows 10 Image using Macrium Reflect

In addition to the above. Here's my suggestion in step by step.
I assume you have Macrium Installed in your current HD and already made a backup copy.
    1. Connect your new HD via USB port and boot up.
    2. Run Macrium, click on Restore tab then select the Backup Image that you made to restore
    3. click on "select a different target disk" then select your new HD as destination

    4. Proceed to restore then Shutdown and disconnect the old HD and replace with the new HD
    5. Boot up with your new HD.

Cannot copy Macrium Reflect mrimg file using Windows command line

I created full system backup of my Windows 10 PC using Macrium Reflect and it created a .mrimg file of around 400 GB. This file is stored on an external hard drive (HDD). I want to copy it to another disk.

If I drag-and-drop it, the copying works fine on the Windows 10 PC, but it takes very long (estimated time 5+ hours). So I thought of using Robocopy from command line in the hope it would be faster:

But it gives me an error message:

I tried this from both, the usual command prompt and the Windows Powershell , but getting the same error. I did make sure the directory and file names are absolutely correct.

I am wondering if the .mrimg file gets sort of locked when Windows 10 is running?
