    I do not know a safe way to change your Hardware ID, but I can advise you not to change your Hardware ID with one of those HWID spoofers that are available, because as soon as your change your HWID, your Windows 10 will deactivate, because it will think you

    Hey.

    I was wondering that someone got my HWID/Hardware ID.

    Is that a bad thing because after that he got my IP from that, and I downloaded his file because Antivirus protection didn't tell me.

    So is it dangerous if someone has your HWID and should I change it?

    Are you pertaining to Hardware ID? Hardware ID's are generated by the Operating System from the first time it is installed. HWID identifies the hardware components that the system is using and the numbers are communicated to Microsoft. In every reboot the operating
    system will generate another HWID number and it will compare to the original to make sure that it is still running to the same device/computer.

    To be honest, changing your hardware ID is dangerous because it is a operating system generated. It's possible but might lead you to complicated errors such as most of the software on your machine.
