Corsair iCUE v5.9.105 Installation error

When I booted my Windows 11 PC on Wednesday, December 5th, 2023 ICU was no longer loaded on my computer. It would appear that iCUE tried to automatically update from V4, but I'm not sure. I searched for it in the Windows/ settings/ apps and there is nothing there. I followed the instructions here: Perform a clean reinstallation of the Corsair Utility Engine (iCUE) https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/a...roken:+corsair+icue+v5.9.105+with+icue+murals. The app is no longer there.

1. When I download CORSAIR iCUE v5.9.105 with iCUE Murals and try to execute the .exe file it says the latest version of ICUE is installed. When I select Open iCue from the Corsair iCUE Installer I get the error message "windows cannot find '\iCUE.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
   
2. When I try to "Repair the App" it looks like it installs. the iCUE installer displays the message Download pre-installation packages... and gets ~63% of the way through and then crashes.
   
3. When I try to Uninstall iCUE it looks like it uninstalls but then when I open the installer again I see 1 above. I also looks like it crashes

Mouse vs Corsair Icue H150i Conflict Noise

Not sure this is a windows or corsair problem I post it there as well cause every time I move my mouse the pump makes noise

CORSAIR iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX making noise when I move my mouse left to right and up and down

when then mouse isn't moving it doesn't make that noise

It's the pump I have removed the software and the mouse and used a different mouse and it still making noise

thought it was the video card so I have replaced it with a new one cause it sounded like it was coming from it but after changing it the noise still there

and no I am not planning to reboot or reset my window that will be last resort after replacing water cooling

Corsair iCUE v5.9.105 Installation error

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

The best option is to download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and check if that can find and uninstall iCUE, it is very good at removing stubborn software.

If that does not work, you will need to open the registry editor, select Computer at the top of the left pane, then select Edit - Find and search the whole registry for any entry referencing iCUE, then once you are sure an entry specifically is related to iCUE, delete it

Please be very careful to only delete entries that are specific to the iCUE software.
