  2. Windows 10 Volume popup - Disable?

I have the same problem and it has nothing to do with changing volume at all.

The popup I get is exactly as reported, but my popup overlay happens at random frequent intervals, generally when I am on-line (but not always) and never when I am trying to change the volume in the usual way. In fact the volume slider has shown changes
in volume which I have not made.

Worse still the overlay slider popups for a few seconds and covers the top left bookmark and other icons, which I need to use. The interval between popups also varies from a few seconds to several minutes and started with me a week or so ago, several months
after the first W10 download and a week or so after the large upgrade.

I have tried all audio settings, disabled and enabled audio and microphone settings and checked Realtek drivers. Nothing I have done has stopped the popups. I've tried top get a screen shot, but the slider does not appear (thank you to KBoojitsu for the
    image)

I do keep the volume permanently muted, otherwise I would get the notification beeps as well.

Please Microsoft give us some help or indication as to how this annoyance can be resolved.

    Tweaktown popup to disable adblocker?

If you refresh your page the popup will come back because it uses random names so even if you block "cdepnewt" the next time you refresh the same function could be named "twenpedc".

Looking at their code, what you actually need to block is "tweaktown.com##script:contains( )", you can add it to your filters manually. It should work whatever the name of the function is.
