Windows 10: how to disable Anti-Virus real time protection in windows 10 permanently?

Our Windows 10 PC has been showing lagging behavior in the program since Monday. So I figured out that antivirus real-time protection is the reason for the delay.It can be temporarily turned off in the control panel, but the system is turning it on automatically. I have tried several methods I found on google to turn it off permanently, but nothing works at all. Please tell me how to turn it off permanently. Thanks in advance.

Do window 10 offer any anti-virus for real-time protection?

Referring to following link, I would like to know on whether window 10 offer any anti-virus or not for real-time protection.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Unable to to Disable Defender Real Time Protection

Hi
I installed the April 2018 Win 10 Update today which has resulted in my CPU constantly working 15% higher due to the Antimalware Service Executable. I’ve tried to disable Defender as suggested by Microsoft but its instruction was to go to Settings / Update & Security / Windows Security / Virus & Threat Protection / Virus & Threat Protection Settings. This should have given me access to switch Real Time Protection off, but the final ‘Settings’ option was not available – see screen shot.



Any ideas please?

How about the steps recommended at Uninstall Bitdefender



Try running the removal tools for any security program that you previously used on the computer and be sure to reboot after using each tool. See

Go to Security and Maintenance, look in 'Security' and see what program is listed under Virus Protection. Windows Defender will not be enabled if there is a program other than Windows Defender listed.
