    How to Disable ASUS Touchpad?


    Different experience here as mine works as advertised - if mouse is removed/undetected, mouse pad works. If mouse is detected, mouse pad doesn't work.

    I use two different Microsoft Arc mice - both Wireless but one requires a USB dongle, the other is Bluetooth and doesn't require a dongle. Both work the same way with the mouse pad.

    As you say, maybe yours is a different type?
