    How to disable Event Trace Sessions


    Hi


    How can I disable event trace sessions like ScreenOnPowerStudyTraceSession - so it does not start after a reboot?

    In performance monitor I can see properties - but the Enabled option is not available.

    Restoring start menu after disabling STARTUP EVENT TRACE SESSIONS

    I disabled all of Startup Event Trace Sessions, though some returned errors. Now start menu and Cortana are broken. Can you please give suggestions on how to restore them to a working state.

    Restoring start menu after disabling STARTUP EVENT TRACE SESSIONS

    Windows 10 Education

    Version 1709 (OS Build 16299.125)

    When i tried to disable some of startup event trace sessions, they gave a message that i don't have enough rights or something like that. I enabled back some of them but start menu is still broken, sometimes it works sometimes not.

    Event ID 3 WiFi Session Error


    Searching Kernel Event Tracing errors found the reason for the WiFiSession error...in Performance Monitor>Data Collector Sets>Startup Event Trace Sessions..I found WiFi Session was enabled thus giving errors on startup..disabling this feature stopped those errors.
