Windows 10: How to disable letters being in captial while holding left shift

I play a game where I need to type and hold left shift so it always types in captals. I want to know how do I disable that so when I hold left shift it wont type in capitals. Im willing to do anything like download programs or edit the registry i just need to disable it. thank you. Im on windows 10 btw.

i have to hold down both shift keys to get a capitol letter

i recently spilled water onto my laptop computer and my numpad 1 key started to spam. due to that i installed keymapper and disabled the 1 key, it still happened. now i have this issue where i have to hold down both the left shift and right shift key in
order to get a capitol letter. help please

 

Shift not woking with individual letters

Hello, i am having some issues with my keyboard. when i try to capitalise certain letters by holding shift nothing happens. while i can capitalise certain letters whileholding shift eg S or H some such as u or i nothing happens when i hold the shift key
and that letter. As i said earlier the shift key is working with some letter and i can type these letters in lower case when i don't hold the shift key.

i have looked online for a solution and i have tried.

- checking to see if sticky keys was on (it was not)

- updating the keyboard drivers

- reinstalling the keyboard via device manager

- updating windows

- troubleshooting the keyboard via settings

and none of these have worked. Please help.

i did not see the setting that talked about restore factory settings. if this helps when i hold shift and hit a key it doesn't enter, it only enters a letter when i hold both shift keys down.
