Windows 10: How to disable palm rejection

I'm trying to disable palm sensitivity on this laptop. It's very annoying since it prevents me from using the touchpad for a short amount of time right after typing. I looked online and it says that apparently I have to look into device settings after clicking the "Mouse" menu in the Control Panel, but I don't see any tab that says device settings after I click the Mouse menu that was spoken of. Therefore I can't seem to be able to access the Synaptics menu from the desktop like I have been able to on other Windows devices. Any help on this issue would be very much appreciated!

Hi, here's my Lenovo Thinkpad touchpad- yours may well look different (screenshot please) as there are different versions of Synaptics GUI.
I had to click Advanced twice to see this, which is what you want:

Update the touchpad software from the PC's Support Downloads webpage.

Then check the controls to adjust as necessary at Settings > Devices > Touchpad.

Also there under Additional Options click the touchpad tab on Mouse Properties to adjust any settings needed there, including ticking the box to "Disable touchpad when external pointing device is attached" to avoid palm-drag on touchpad causing cursor to jump.

Windows 10: Force-Disable Palm Rejection

I recently purchased an Asus VivoBook S14 which uses their own AsusPTP precision touchpad driver. I've reinstalled the driver countless times, tweaked the touchpad sensitivity, and disabled every mouse gesture setting I could find. Unfortunately the palm rejection is still an issue. Everything I've seen has referred to Settings panels or options that no longer exist, tabs in the old control panel that aren't relevant or present on my system, or registry keys that don't exist (as well they shouldn't as they are for a different driver).

Is there a way to force it to disable palm rejection? Having to wait up 10 seconds for Windows to make the decision for me that I really do want to use the touchpad is unacceptable.
